Whilst I had created my music video editing I had to use some editing techniques in order to make my music video more surreal and effective.
I had firstly imported my footage onto Final Cut Pro, I had then put them into bins to make my editing less cluttered and more organised. The bins also helped me to locate your video footage very easily. I had then got my master shot and drop and dragged it onto the timeline I had then got the relevent clips and I timed and editied the music with the clips and to make the music and clips fit in. The reason why I had cutted to the beat is because to make the video to tune in and fit in together and bond. As well as I have cutted to the beat I have also got some 2-3 seconds cutaways amongst the video I have done this just to make it more intereting and exciting. I have used close up shots because to show off the star and to make them look like a star.
As well as this I have also used a few effects and transitons in the video I have used effects just to make the video clip more upbeat and creative.
I have also included sync inconography, this is where you use a specific shot to reveal and bring up the star from the video. I have done this just to make them look like a real pop star.
